Sam and I are walking around the entire perimeter of Cornwall, our home county. We feel that every person should walk around the defining edge of their place of birth, to truly get to know it. Or not.
2016 - We started at Newquay train station and walked to Lands End Theme Park in three full days (three nights). We slept in a hidden tent in farmers fields, and ate in every pub we could find along the way. We linked up all the hot spots of the North Coast in one (almost) continuoss swoop.
2017 - We resumed from Lands End and walked to Penznace in absolutely shitty weather. The next day we endeavoured to walk to The Lizzard Youth Hostel, which we did, but with fairly exhausting and disastrous results, which led to us abandoning the mission, getting the bus home and vowing we would continue in 2018. The weather was just so bad.
We shall continue in the spring/summer of 2018. Watch this space
